Oracle Pricing

Defining Price List
1)      Prerequisites before creating a Price List:
a.       Identify the business unit for which price list will be created
b.      Set the proper values of the profiles:
QP: Item Validation Organization  --à Validation Org specific to business unit
QP: Pricing Transaction Entity --à  Order Fulfillment
QP: Source System Code Oracle --à Pricing

2)      Creating a price list
Navigation:
Oracle Pricing Manager or ERC_OM_Super_User  →    Pricing → Price Lists →         Price List Setups

Copy the Price List
Create two price lists XXIFF_ERC_RMPMFG_01_COPY_01 & XXIFF_ERC_RMPMFG_01_COPY_02
by copying the price list XXIFF_ERC_RMPMFG_01.
Navigation:
Oracle Pricing Manager or ERC_OM_Super_User  →    Pricing → Price Lists →         Copy Price List



Adjust the Price List
Navigation:
Oracle Pricing Manager or ERC_OM_Super_User  →    Pricing → Price Lists →         Adjust Price List
Increase the price of all the items by 10%


Add new item to the Price List
Navigation:
Oracle Pricing Manager or ERC_OM_Super_User  →    Pricing → Price Lists →         Add Item to Price List
Add Item 320930000006 to the price list.

Price List Maintenance
Navigation:
Oracle Pricing Administrator ----à Price List Maintenance
Price list can be modify as Bulk and detail.
Detail maintenance is done at each price line item level where bulk will be done for the entire price list.

Secondary Price list
Secondary price list is used for pricing the items whose price is not defined in primary price list.
A Primary price list can have multiple secondary price list associated with it.

Attach XXIFF_ERC_RMPMFG_01_COPY_01 and XXIFF_ERC_RMPMFG_01_COPY_02 as secondary price list to the XXIFF_ERC_RMPMFG_01 price list.

Price list Precedence
In case same item is defined in two secondary price list that price list with lower precedence value will be picked for pricing the item. In case the price list precedence value is same that price list item level precedence will be picked for pricing the item. In case Price List precedence and Price list line level precedence is same that least price will be picked for pricing the item at sales order.

Price Promotions

Discount Promotion: A order line item level and Order level discount are defined where order level discount will be applied for specific customer but order line level is for specific item.
Navigation:
Oracle Pricing Manager or ERC_OM_Super_User ---à Pricing ---à Modifier
Qualifier is defined for order level discount promotion

Order created for different customer so, order level promotional modifier can’t be applied since, order doesn’t
Qualify the qualifier condition.
Surcharge Promotion:
Surcharge of amount 5 is applied for a particular line item.

Promotional Good:
FOC item will be given for purchase of a particular item
