Creating A Query Only Form

Responsibility: System Administrator

Navigation: System Administrator>Application>Function

In the Creating Menus Exercise we have created a Responsibility called  SA_System Auditor

Objective

We will create a Query Only Create Responsibilities Function and add it to the Menu attached to the above responsibility

In the Properties Tab Choose Type and Move to the Form Tab

Fill up the Form Tab as below

Leave remaining Tabs untouched

Save

ATTACH This Function created to The Menu attached to SA_System Auditor Responsibility.

Query the  Responsibility To Find the Menu

Security>Responsibility>Define

F11

Enter SA_System%

Ctrl +F11

Now Let us Query the Menu SA_TOP_SYSTEM AUDITOR

Application>Menu

F11

Enter SA_TOP_SYSTEM AUDITOR%

Ctrl+F11

Attach the View Only Function you Created and Save as Below

Click Ok

Now Let us switch to the Responsibility and see the view only form  there

Click View Responsibilities

Read Only Form Opens- You cannot enter anything here
