Verify the Cross Business Group Profile Option For PA

1. Responsibility = System Administrator, Progress S&L

2. Navigate to the Find System Profile Values window

• (N) Profile > System

3. Find the HR: Cross Business Group profile

• Enable the Site check box
• Profile = HR:Cross%

4. (B) Find

5. Verify that the profile HR:Cross Business Group is set to Yes.

• The Vision training environment uses cross business group access. When the profile option is set to Yes:

• Organization hierarchies can contain organizations from any business group
• Jobs used for bill rate calculations, and resource lists can be in any job group, without business group restrictions
• Employees can charge to any project in any business group
